Located on Nimble Hill Road, just south of the town library, stand three stone memorials for those who served from Newington in our country's wars.
The oldest one (on right) was erected by the Shakesperian Club in 1926, followed by the World War II monument (left) in 1949 by the Newington Veterans Association. The center stone represents those who served during the Korean War (no date is inscribed on this one).
